Gravity bar -
Parramatta
Account by Chris Gardiner (guitars/vocals)
What a gig.
Parramatta's a bit of a hike from where we reside in the eastern suburbs of
Sydney, so to get all our gear and our mates there 3 out of 4 of us had to
drive, which meant no drink! We played second and our set went sumthin like
this:
Slowest suicide
slutbag
Conform
when it ends
no life, low life
disgrace looms.
Due to a late start by the opening band and a few tech difficulties of our own, we were forced to play a slightly shortened set.
The set went pretty much with out a hitch, except when I broke my top string in the middle of the disgrace looms solo. Luckily though, this was our last song so I just finished singing my part, put down my guitar and jumped on to the floor to have a mosh for the last minute of the set. good fun.
I had to take take trav (our bass player) home early so he could get his ugly sleep, so I missed the majority of kyser's set. But the last 10 minutes I saw was brilliant as usual. Closing out the night with "pick up the pace", they finished their set with the intensity that we've almost come to expect from them.
Well, that's all I got! Check below for our upcoming shows and check back here soon for more photos of the gravity gig.
Scrum it up!
Chris.
